I remember the first time I met Stacey... she was wearing her cool outfit with an even cooler hat, and was laughing and joking with a friend, totally oblivious to the rest of the party, having a great time - I instantly wanted to be friends with her. We were introduced and all had a blast that night, chatting and joking until the early hours. I was only 16 at the time, and wasn’t living in the nicest of places, surrounded by people from all walks of life including some very shady characters, but Stacey always looked out for me - even though we weren’t the bestest of friends, she saw that I wasn’t as strong as she was, that I was almost a lamb amongst wolves at times, and shared her strength with me in moments where I may not have coped otherwise. I am so glad I met Stacey, and forever grateful to her for helping me to be strong - something I carry with me to this day, thanks to her. I only knew you for 2 years, yet the memories have stayed with me for a lifetime.
